Our Leadership Tenants, March 12, 2010
We believe America is a great nation worthy of our patriotism, support of our troops and an accurate historical representation.
We believe capitalism rooted in free markets and not socialism ensures freedom for all to pursue happiness; the ‘American Dream’ is unique and worthy of protection from government encroachment.
In the true spirit of conservatism, we believe in teaching the next generation to conserve, to be responsible, and to give back to our communities.
We believe strong families make strong communities making a strong America.
We believe marriage is a God-given gift, and by His perfect design, is limited to a man and a woman as the first and most important building block to healthy families.
We believe in gender equality not gender neutrality, and the inherent qualities of each are to be equally valued and respected.
We believe in the protection and sanctity of all human life from the unborn to the elderly, the disabled and all human life in between.
We believe women deserve the right to an educated choice for Life, which includes, but is not limited to, receiving a sonogram, faith guidance and counseling, and adoption awareness and will ensure our chapters support those clinics offering this education through our Celebrate Life Drives.
We believe in meeting individuals with love and compassion and will uphold an attitude of grace when communicating with other members and the community.

Why NOCW? March 11, 2010
For forty years conservative women have successfully been marginalized in the marketplace of ideas and mocked in comedy for the entire world to see (comedy - a very relative term). Their presence in society distorted by Ms. Walter's View, a ratio of 5:1. Conservative women have not only had to fight like all women for equality in the workplace, they have been shunned from the secret society of working liberal women. Feminism has been allowed to run rampant and promoted by every media outlet to the destruction of our culture and America's political landscape.
If feminism was such a success, why are Hollywood and our nation's high schools filled with confused, lost and hopeless young women? Oh, right, the root of feminism is sexual liberation which leads to ultimate freedom, or more accurately body caskets filled with frail bodies from suicide by overdose because their value was wrapped up in their desirability as a sexually liberated female. Or suicide from post abortion syndrome. Now that's not a news report I have ever heard by news anchor Katie Couric. (News - also a relative term).
If feminism was such a success, why do we still buy magazines filled with models who need to be rescued and fed? Only for our daughters to flip through the pages to see which one they want to emulate.
If feminism was such a success, why are single mothers among our nation's poorest?
If feminism was such a success, why was a woman candidate torn down in less than 24 hours after taking the national stage?
Because feminism is not a success. Feminism is a failure. Enough is enough. Four decades of failure is enough. Pandoras box is open wide. America's women and girls deserve better than the failure feminism has created, and at the very least played accomplice to.
NOCW is America's new message maker. Unlike our predecessor, we are for all women because conservatism is best for women. For our skeptics, we will prove to you in far less than four decades. For our critics, we are willing to bridge the divide and work toward life affirming solutions for our nation's women starting with an educated choice for Life.

Our "Red" Pages Professional Directory - Buy, Network, Empower! March 10, 2010
We created "Red" Pages to be the tool that allows our members to buy, network and empower. Let’s get our economy growing starting with each other.
Professional Members get added to our "Red" Pages Professional Directory for conservative women-owned businesses and professionals. We are building a network for like-minded women to collaborate, market and grow their businesses.
Signature Members can search "Red" Pages for the perfect gift, planning a next event, real estate transaction, financial advisor, and more.
Student Members have access to a potential future employer.
Why "Red" Pages? A friend I met on this journey inspired me to create "Red" Pages. She was ultra feminist turned ultra conservative in business for herself. At the news of her turned beliefs, her liberal network ceased to exist. If that doesn't pop the bubble in the feminist mantra - "for women" (caveat conveniently missing from the legalese).
Here lies the catalyst for creating “Red” Pages – a directory of conservative women-owned businesses and professionals. The #1 rule in marketing – we buy from those we like and in this case relate. Let’s apply dollars to those women who share our values and who will in turn invest wisely with near certainty a donation to Planned Parenthood won't be her next tax break - presumably the reason my friend's liberal network ceased.
Liberalism has been perpetuated by BIG dollars. Hollywood. Gore. Moore. Soros. Liberalism and the feminist agenda are BIG business. Basic economics tells us money buys influence. We need to start seeing the money trail and spend more wisely by investing in those women who share our view.

Why Dues? March 9, 2010
Ownership. Women must own the message. Women must be invested. We chose the cost of a dinner out per year as the dues for being a member. A small sacrifice in the course of an entire year, but a necessary one we feel to allow an organization of women to grow for women. It is time conservative women begin owning the message and influence in our culture.
We are growing a non-profit women's organization using a conservative ideal capitalism - allowing women to invest their dollars and ideas in our collaborative success and ultimately America's future. We want women willing to roll up their sleeves with us to be the solution rather than seek government aid or large donors at a cost ie. strings attached. We chose early on our voice will not be bought. Our success depends solely on you - one dinner out at a time.
Invest a dinner out. Join us. Own the message. Be the difference.

Why a Red High Heel? March 6, 2010
Thank you for taking a peek inside the 'Red Heel' Diary. Names written inside this diary will be kept private for anonymity sake. Experiences will be 100% accurate. Asked recently by a tremendous woman with a full career on the business side of a male dominated sport, why the Red High Heel? A red heel to her was a stumbling block. To me, a red high heel is the beautiful antithesis of feminism. You have to know who you are to wear a red high heel. The red heel is fun, fashionable and ultra feminine. You must have a firm foundation to walk with grace in heels. Red heels add spice, creativity and flare from the ordinary. Admittedly, they are out-of-the-box and reserved for when you want to make a statement. Note, heels not spikes.
Recently, my son asked me why I tell all new mommies I meet his nickname is 'Spicy'. To best illustrate, I took my son to the spice drawer and matched cayenne, cajun and cinnamon to his brilliant red hair explaining he is full of flavor, boldness and not a single ounce boring while hiding the fact these traits may one day leave me completely bald in need of a hair wig.
My friend's advice was to go toward generic remaining ambiguous in design. Contemplating for a second, I could not wake up every day filled with zeal and passion to create a forward, fun and profoundly impacting organization celebrating the qualities of women uniquely suited for the monumental tasks at hand if I embraced ambiguous.
Let's make a deal. Come to the table in whatever style fits you (flats, flip-flops, or cowboy boots - bold red or neutral) bringing your diversity and unique talents our nation needs with an acceptance of all the red high heel stands for. Let's create a gorgeous tapestry of common ground as it will take all types and styles to move our country forward.
