Julie Smith, President and Founder

Julie Smith, President, founded NOCW in February, 2009 with the desire to provide American women equal representation and add a modern flair to the conservative movement attracting women of all generations and backgrounds to better our nation. Julie has a diverse background ranging from system engineer with a Fortune 50 firm, to account manager and IT recruiter with a mid-sized consultancy to starting her own small business publishing company from the ground up. Combining entrepreneurship and philanthropy, Julie uses her small business to strategize charitable outreaches to raise funds for a range of causes including orphans in third world countries, literacy, children with special needs, private parochial schools, and women’s clinics providing educated choices for Life.

A visionary, Julie sees a need and dedicates herself to a solution. A team builder, Julie sees talent in others and facilitates. A passionate undertaker, Julie sees no task too big given ingenuity and each woman working together. Through NOCW, Julie will bring together America’s amazing organizers, leaders, influencers, protectors, creative thinkers and multi-taskers—America’s women—to affect our families, our communities and the country we love. She knows if you organize women, you can organize an entire nation. Julie has a degree with honors in English and Communication. Above all, Julie is a wife to a naval officer and grateful mother of two.
