Find out why, and what YOU can do to fight activism being purposefully embedded in your child’s curriculum. Don’t think because you may home school or send your child to private school, you have escaped the hands of activists bent on destroying American History by rewriting it to suit their whim. What happens in Texas affects the entire nation. Learn what historical figures are no longer “suitable” and which ones are planned to replace them.

Ms. Julie Smith, Organizer and Founder, National Organization of Conservative Women. Julie advocates for an NOCW coined ‘Activist Free Zone’ in Public Education.

Ms. Heather Liggett, a stay-at-home mom with two children in the public school system. Ms. Liggett became actively involved in shining a light on an agenda underway to revise our children’s textbooks using an imperialist perspective. Heather was contacted by Bill Ames, a history reviewer for 8 years in Dallas to assist. Heather became well-known in Austin, Texas for organizing the Tax Day Tea Party.

Ms. Peggy Venable, Texas State Director for Americans For Prosperity and former White House Liaison to the US Department of Education under the Reagan Administration. In 2001, Ms. Venable was instrumental in keeping the Wright Brothers and Neil Armstrong part of our nation’s textbooks and public education curriculum. Peggy will be addressing the Texas SBOE on November 18th.

Ms. Kelly Payne, Civics and World History Teacher and candidate for State Superintendent of Education in SC. Ms. Payne is recognized as an exceptional teacher creating an environment for students’ excellence and engagement in civic activity, debate and learning. Her students have become known as the “It Kids”. Kelly shares, “Each of us was born for a purpose. My purpose is that I have a moral obligation and responsibility as a teacher and believer to pass the free enterprise message on to our youth. I am called to teach our children why our founding fathers didn’t intend for our Constitution to be a living breathing document. I should be taught in it’s original purpose.”
Kelly was tapped to be the Republican candidate for State Superintendent, a role she is currently campaigning for. Kelly was also our NOCW Conservative Woman for September, 2009.
