Laurie has also been very active in the grass roots effort to organize local Tea Parties in her area. Laurie is the acting Campaign Director for Dr. Donna Campbell. Laurie first became very concerned during the election process, and recognized people were falling for a media blitz. She was also very upset with the attitudes, especially towards Ms. Clinton, that Obama took.
  • Heather LiggettA stay-at-home mother and former Director of Services for a worldwide company, for Heather, the Omnibus Bill was the last straw making it evident phone calls and emails were no longer going to be enough. Heather watched the Father of the 2009 Tea Party, Rick Santelli, and knew for the sake of her children and her husband’s business, she needed to have a Tea Party.  In a letter to Karl Rove and others urging action, Heather wrote, “This great country has achieved more in her short existence than any other nation and it all began with one voice and one idea.  I am one stay-at-home mom with a voice and a determination to come together with other like minded constituents to end this stimulus madness.  With your help we can become a vociferous force that Washington will no longer be able to ignore, deflect or silence.”
